After completion of M.E. degree
in Aerospace Engineering from BIT, Ranchi, he worked at Indian Institute of Technology,
Kanpur and was associated with the National Wind Tunnel Design Team (1991-94).
He has also worked at Aeronautical Development Agency, Bangalore & was associated
with the team working on Wind Tunnel Testing of Light Combat Aircraft (LCA) (1994-95).
In 1995, he joined Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) and was involved
in the Type Certification Group for Indigenous aircraft, helicopter and related
components in the R&D Directorate (1995-2004).
He joined DST in 2004
and since then involved with executing innovative programmes to strengthen the
S&T infrastructure in Colleges/Universities/Institutes.
